eb301 Bluetooth Module w/Antenna

The setup has an eb301 with U.FL connector, a U.FL to SMA cable and a folding rubber ducky antenna. With this antenna the range is greatly increased over the standard chip or PC Board antenna.

The eb301 is a carrier board that has an eb100 Bluetooth module attached and contains buffers and a voltage regulator. There is a U.FL antenna connector for antenna output. The board runs on 5V and supports 5V TTL Signals. For minimal operation only 5 pins are used, RX,TX, 5V, GND and Antenna.

The Bluetooth module uses a simple command set to configure and connect to another device. The data transfer rate of up to 250kbps of continuous data throughput is supported. The module requires 3.3V at 125uA standby and up to 60 mA in pairing mode.

The module is based on the CSR BlueCore™ Bluetooth Chip. This Chip supports both TTL Serial and USB with very few external components.

These are great for Arduino to allow wirelessly communication to a PC or Smart Phone. These modules can be either Master or Slave so two modules can talk to each other and either can start the conversation.

These modules are New Surplus. They have no box or manual. Specification and pinout will be provided.
