ESP8266 Yellow Plate Flashing

Postby Tim Laren » Thu Mar 31, 2016 5:04 pm

This board has a jumper for FLASH.
You need to jumper the two pins (comes with a yellow jumper) and then reset the module.
The reset pin is the top left most pin, labeled REST.
Just quickly jumper it to GND while the FLASH Pins are jumpered.
When using the Arduino IDE I press upload, jumper FLASH and then nit the reset line.
I have enough time almost always while the program is compiling.
I have also noticed that sometimes if I don't reset it sometimes flashes anyways.
This may be when I have crashed and the WDT resets the module.
