Arduino Kit Information: Dual Color LED

RGB LED

The RGB LEDs that are provided with the kits have a common anode. The longest, center leg is the anode. The second longest leg is the Green LED. The next longest leg is the Blue LED, the one right next to the Green leg. The shortest leg, the one on the other side of the common is the Red LED.

The LEDs do not have the same current rating the different LEDs will be/seem brighter. You can put a larger limiting resistor on the brighter LED if you want them to all appear the same brightness.
